Sound lovely when you speak. . . →
I stumbled upon this list of the 100 most beautiful words in the English language. While some of my favorites didn’t make the cut (superfluous, acquiesce), and many conjured up memories of high school AP English (halcyon, lagniappe), the list as a whole feels like a luxurious treat in language. I intend to start using at least one of the chosen words daily.
