True story, I read in Fitness Magazine that eating a donut for breakfast is better than eating no breakfast at all.

Anonymous asked: What should I wear on a first date? I don't have much money for a new outfit :(

Not to worry, you don’t need to spend money on a new outfit. If it’s a first date whatever you wear will be new to him anyway. My suggestions below can be applied to any date whether you are going to a red carpet event or a sporting event.

  1. Most importantly, wear something that you feel amazing in. If you have a favorite dress that isn’t TOO sexy, wear that. If a dress is out of the question, wear your favorite jeans and top that make you feel great.
  2. As a general rule of thumb, flaunt your best asset and cover up everything else. This is only a first date remember? If you have great legs wear a mini skirt or shorts with a long sleeved top. If you are showing cleavage wear pants or a skirt that hits the knee or longer. This may sound silly, but trust me you don’t want everything on display on the first date!
  3. Don’t worry about labels. Guys don’t care if you are wearing Target or Prada (if they notice and care, well, there may be bigger issues than your first date outfit).
  4. If at all possible, wear heels. Not only do they perk up any look, but heels make legs look longer and create great posture. Just make sure you can walk in them, you want to strut, not trip.

Have fun :) Hope it goes really well!

They say it’s best to know thy enemy and while I would never consider men ‘the enemy’, it certainly doesn’t hurt to take a peek at their musings.

The people behind brotips are blunt, funny, and post daily. Enjoy!

    Try a simple cat eye.

1. Use a felt tip eyeliner “marker” like Maybelline Line Stiletto. I prefer products like this over liquid and powder varieties, less messy, more precise and equally gorgeous.

2. Start in the inner corner of your eye and using quick short strokes (think dashes) follow the lashline to the outer corner. Then play connect the dots to get a sleek smooth line. Start thin and build if you want a thicker line.

3. Once the line along the lashline is complete, use the liner to draw a swoop up on the outer corner of your eye (pretend you are continuing the line from your bottom lashline upwards). Again, start with a small swoop, take a look, and add more if you want a more dramatic look.
For best results, pair with a Bardot style blowout and soft lips. Et voilà!
